Alcohol — Know Your Limits

Alcohol is a legal drug commonly used in parties and celebrations. Be aware that alcohol is a deceptive drug: not only does it affect everyone differently, but it affects the same person differently in different situations — whether on an empty or full stomach, drinking heavily or lightly, and depending on mental and physical condition at the time.

The Barrier-Releaser

Alcohol is known as a barrier-releaser, but there is a certain limit to its consumption. When you cross your personal limit, your self-control decreases — both mentally and physically — making it impossible to enjoy excellent sex.

It is very important that you pay attention to the quantity you drink. Investigate until you recognise your behaviour under the influence of alcohol, even in low doses. How much does a can of beer affect you? A glass of wine? Two glasses?

Mutual Awareness

If you know the answers correctly, you will be able to drink and adjust to your partner's alcohol consumption. The mutual awareness can get you both to the sexual activity in a state of maximum openness, while maintaining self-control and the ability to hear each other.

Important warning: Pay close attention to cases where your partner crosses her drinking limit. A very drunk woman can ask you to have sex with her, but in most cases she will regret it in the morning. Drunk sex is lousy. And more importantly — sex with a woman under the influence of alcohol can be, in some situations, considered rape, even in a situation where no physical pressure has been used. You have been warned.

Cannabis

If you smoke marijuana occasionally, here too you should think about its effect on you and your sexual arousal. If smoking causes you to talk a lot and burst out laughing — this can completely lower the energy of a meeting that started in a sexy atmosphere. Know yourself before bringing substances into an intimate situation.
